Julie Q. Brush (aka The Lawyer Whisperer) is recognized as the leading career strategist and advisor in the legal profession. In recognition of her prominence in the legal industry, Julie has received numerous awards including Entrepreneur of the Year, Watermark’s Senior Executive of the Year, Women Who Have Made Their Mark Award, Silicon Valley Business Journal’s Women of Influence and The Best and Brightest Business Leaders of “40 Under 40″; and the YWCA Tribute to Women & Industry Award.

Julie began her legal career as an attorney with Brobeck Phleger & Harrison before leaving the law to pursue her desire to help attorneys build fulfilling careers and assist clients in building world class legal functions. In 2000, she co-founded Solutus Legal Search LLC, a market leader and leading legal search/consulting boutique firm in the U.S.  In her role at Solutus, Julie serves as a strategic advisor and close confidant to the world’s most prominent law firms and corporations as well as the industry’s finest lawyers.

Julie grew up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin where tennis was a dominant influence in her early years. She played Women’s Varsity Tennis at UCLA and on the professional tennis tour before attending law school.  She resides in the San Francisco Bay Area with her husband and their twins.
