Our client, a hospitality unicorn and one of the fastest growing late-stage startup companies in the world, has exclusively retained Solutus Legal to assist the company in its search for a top corporate transactions attorney. The ideal candidate will possess at least 5-7 years of M&A and other relevant corporate legal experience and be comfortable working on complex global issues. This role will report to the Global General Counsel.
Duties include strategizing, leading and executing M&A and other strategic transactions and working closely with the company’s executive, corporate development, legal and other cross-functional teams. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong acumen in leading acquisitions and other corporate transactions, including advising on deal structure and issues, conducting and managing due diligence, drafting and negotiating deal documentation, coordinating deal closings, and managing post-closing requirements and integration.
This attorney will support corporate governance and compliance matters for U.S. operations. They will work closely with outside counsel and must possess the ability to effectively and efficiently manage the relationship.
Personality fit with our client and the legal department is paramount. This lawyer must possess superior communication and negotiation skills and will be a hard worker, responsive, proactive, team player, critical thinker, intellectually curious with the ability to quickly pivot in a fast-moving and sometimes ambiguous environment.
