Corporate Attorney, Part-time (SF/London/Remote) – High-End Law Firm Boutique Specializing in Venture Capital Financings, Corporate and M&A
Solutus Legal has been exclusively retained by our client, a high-end boutique law firm, to assist in hiring an attorney to work on corporate transactions. Founded in 2000, our client has a thriving corporate practice and established client base that includes top tier international funds, cachet companies and other clientele. Offices are located in San Francisco and London. Many team members work remotely and the firm is open to a part-time schedule of 20-30 hours per week (with the opportunity for the attorney to work more or less if desired).
The successful candidate will have between two – four years of experience handling venture capital financings and M&A transactions in the corporate department of a top law firm. Experience with start-up work, licensing and commercial contracts is helpful, but not a requirement. California or New York Bar admission is required.

Excellent drafting skills, precise attention to detail and strong and very clear written and oral communication skills are also a must. Keeping in close touch with the team and coordinating smoothly and with clarity over the telephone, email and IM/Skype; working successfully and independently from home; being a self-starter, having a very strong and independent ability to follow up and follow through on matters is key. Being an enthusiastic, dedicated and professional team player with excellent organization and project management skills is also essential.
This position requires a dedicated home office and the ability to effectively and efficiently work and communicate across U.S. and European time zones (noting that the firm has physical locations in San Francisco and London). Team members are independent contractors. This position offers a competitive hourly rate and the opportunity for ongoing advancement in pay and professional development. The firm supplies professional liability insurance, IT and document processing support as well as access to PLC and PLI.
